Patterns that help you remember it
- The last digits repeat in a cycle of 10: 7, 4, 1, 8, 5, 2, 9, 6, 3, 0.
- Split it into tens and ones: 1067 × k = 1060 × k + 7 × k.
- Each answer is 1067 more than the one before, so you can count on in steps of 1067.
Building it from tables you already know
To multiply 1067 by 9, multiply by 10 and take one 1067 away: 10,670 − 1067 = 9,603. To multiply by 11, multiply by 10 and add one more 1067: 10,670 + 1067 = 11,737. Multiplying by 4 is doubling twice: 1067 → 2,134 → 4,268.
Every multiple of 1067 is at least 1067, so there are none below 100 and 0 below 1,000. A number is in the 1067 times table exactly when it divides by 1067 with no remainder.
Odd, even and the last digit
Because 1067 is odd, the answers alternate between odd and even: 1067 × 1 = 1067 is odd, 1067 × 2 = 2,134 is even, and so on. Multiplying by 10 always puts a zero on the end: 1067 × 10 = 10,670, and 1067 × 100 = 106,700. Multiplying by 5 is half of multiplying by 10: half of 10,670 is 5,335.
Using the 1067 times table to divide
Every fact also works backwards: because 1067 × 7 = 7,469, you know 7,469 ÷ 1067 = 7 and 7,469 ÷ 7 = 1067. Practising the table and its division facts together halves the work.

Word problems
Times tables are most useful when you can spot them in a question. Try these, then open each one to check:
- A box holds 1067 pencils. How many pencils are in 8 boxes?
Answer
8 × 1067 = 8,536 pencils. - Tickets cost $1067 each. How much do 4 tickets cost?
Answer
4 × $1067 = $4,268. - 5,335 chairs are set out in rows of 1067. How many rows are there?
Answer
5,335 ÷ 1067 = 5 rows. - A plant grows 1067 millimetres a week. How much does it grow in 8 weeks?
Answer
8 × 1067 = 8,536 millimetres.
Questions
What is 1067 × 12?
12,804.
What is half of 1067 × 8?
1067 × 8 = 8,536, and half of that is 4,268, which is 1067 × 4. Halving one factor halves the answer.
What is 1067 times 0?
0. Any number multiplied by zero is zero, because zero groups of 1067 contain nothing.
What is 1067 × 7 and 1067 × 8?
1067 × 7 = 7,469 and 1067 × 8 = 8,536. These two are the facts most people find hardest, so they are worth practising on their own.
Is 16,005 in the 1067 times table?
Yes: 16,005 ÷ 1067 = 15 with no remainder. 16,006 is not, because dividing it by 1067 leaves a remainder of 1.
How do I learn the 1067 times table quickly?
Learn it in order first, then use the patterns above and practise mixed questions; a few minutes a day works better than one long session.
